Editorial Independence
Our editorial decisions are made independently and are not influenced by advertisers, sponsors, manufacturers or any external commercial relationships. All content is driven by editorial merit, newsworthiness and relevance to our readers.
Sourcing Standards
- Primary sources preferred: Official company announcements, regulatory filings, financial reports and direct interviews.
- Multilingual sourcing: Our reporters monitor primary sources in multiple languages — including Chinese regulatory filings (MIIT, CPCA), corporate channels and local media — alongside established English-language outlets such as Reuters, Bloomberg, CarNewsChina and CnEVPost.
- Cross-verification: Claims from a single source are flagged accordingly. Whenever possible, we seek confirmation from at least two independent sources.
- Attribution: All factual claims, data points and quotes are attributed to their original source. Readers can trace every number back to its origin.
- Anonymous sources: Used sparingly and only when the information is of clear public interest and cannot be obtained on the record. The reason for anonymity is disclosed.
Artificial Intelligence Policy
AI tools are used as productivity aids, not as content creators.
- Research & aggregation: AI assists in initial research, aggregation and multilingual material processing.
- Drafting: AI may assist with drafting, but every article undergoes substantial human editing, fact-checking and structural reorganization.
- Human authorship: No article is published without direct human authorship and editorial review. The byline reflects the human editor responsible for the final work.
- Disclosure: We will update this policy as AI capabilities evolve, and we commit to transparent disclosure of any significant changes to our workflow.

- Initial research: The reporter gathers and cross-references sources.
- Drafting: The article is written with full source attribution.
- Editorial review: An editor reviews for factual accuracy, clarity and fairness.
- Data verification: All numerical data (sales figures, financial metrics, technical specifications) are verified against the original source documents.
- Rights & permissions: All images and multimedia are properly attributed and licensed.
Conflicts of Interest
- Staff writers and contributors are required to disclose any financial or personal relationships with companies they cover.
- We do not accept payment for coverage. Sponsored content is clearly labeled as such.
